Beautiful Sunday

Last Sunday was a beautiful day.  We decided to go buy some kites and fly them in the yard.  It was going ok but we thought it would be much better to take them down by the bay and fly them there since there was bound to be more wind by the bay.  We had an early dinner and went on our way.  It was a fun hike but when we got to the cliff there was no wind....not even the tiniest bit.  It was still fun.  We climbed trees, hiked down from the cliff to the waters edge and skipped some rocks then hiked back to the car and home.  I felt very glad I got to spend the nice day with my kids.  Wished that daddy didn't have to do church work and to be present at the the serve that night so he could have joined us :(
