Today is the last day of school. It is so hard to believe my little girl is finishing up kindergarten. It is almost more hard to believe that next year is my little boys last year in elementary school. I am just not sure where these last few years have gone.
As I saw my little girl get on the bus this morning I can't believe the difference from the beginning of the school year.
Both Carrot and I had a really hard time adusting to kindergarten. She cried most mornings and her brother had to sit with her on the bus and walk her to her class.......and this morning a quick hug and kiss and an I love you mom and she was gone.
It makes me so happy to see her gain this independance but miss my little side kick at the same time.
Today at the final awards Carrot recived the citizenship award. This award is given to 1 boy and 1 girl out of all 3 kindergarten classes. It had tears in my eyes as she recieced her award and felt so very blessed with the children God has allowed me to raise.
